GCS Hurricane Ike Relief Effort

The effects of Hurricane Ike has left many in the local Houston and Galveston area with devastating damage to their homes and lives. In response, GeoControl Systems Inc. took action by partnering with other teammates on the Engineering and Science Contract in relief efforts to make sure that our employees got the help they needed. In association with ESCG, GeoControl donated $3,000 to the Wu Foundation, to help our employees specifically assigned to the ESCG contract. Realizing the need to assure that employees outside that contract received assistance as well GeoControl also created a company sponsored relief effort program. Reaching out to those who needed it most GeoControl donated an additional $5,100 in Hurricane Ike Relief aid to our employees. These efforts are aligned with two of the company's primary quality goals, to advance the lives of our employees and to revitalize the communities in which we live and work.
